Ethos
As a lover of adventure and risk, if something scares me I try to move towards it.
The manifestation of this in my life has been a prestigious education, a successful career across blue chip firms and startups, deep relationships, and a life spent outside in movement. In addition to being a dual-certified yoga instructor, I practice a blend of traditional therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbalism, the Indian chakra system, meditation, and Native American nature ways — honoring my grandmother's Mohawk bloodline. My mission is to live life in such a way that inspires those around me to reflect on their own self-worth, as well as their boundaries. Authenticity, adventure, and autonomy are my values; and I strive for balance and reciprocity. I also believe our inputs change our output, and I'm constantly listening to, reading, watching and learning from Brené Brown, Glennon Doyle, Martha Beck, Seth Godin, Esther Perel, Byron Katie, Simon Sinek, Adam Grant, and Scott Galloway among others. Who are your inputs?
Less is more, and language matters. Quotes like these from wide ranging thinkers both ground and inspire me to be the best version of myself.
“People who can hold the discomfort of paradox are truly the most transformative leaders among us.”
Brené Brown
“What you focus on grows.”
Robin Sharma
“Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously.”
Prentis Hempill
